MIRacle™ ATR
Fast and Easy IR Sampling
The MIRacle™ is a universal ATR sampling accessory
for the analysis of solids, liquids, pastes, gels, and intractable
materials.
In its most popular configuration it is a single reflection
ZnSe ATR accessory with high IR throughput. It is ideal for
sample identification and QA/QC applications.
It is also available with a three reflection ATR ZnSe crystal
plate for lower concentration samples, a single reflection
ATR Ge crystal plate for highly absorbing samples and a high
purity diamond/ZnSe crystal plate for high throughput sampling
without concern for scratching the crystal.
The included pinned-in-place high-pressure clamp comes with
tips for hard, soft and pellet shaped samples. A slip-clutch
mechanism prevents excessive pressure from being applied
to the crystal.

EasiDiff™
Workhorse Diffuse Reflectance Accessory
The EasiDiff is
an economical, high quality diffuse reflectance accessory
designed for analysis of samples in powder form with a variety
of
grain sizes.
The EasiDiff simplifies sample preparation and
reduces the time to measure a sample compared to the KBr
pellet technique.
Typically, a small amount of sample (about 1%) is mixed
and ground with KBr powder to provide a spectrum with minimal
saturation.
The EasiDiff employs an elegant, high performance
optical design for maximum energy throughput and ease of
operation.
Optical components critical to achieving this performance
are permanently aligned.
Focusing is achieved
with a micrometer by moving the sample (not the collection
mirror) to the optimum position.
A dual position sample holder
enables background and sample collection in a simple, two-step
process.
